Foam induction system uses a Klein High Pressure (100 psi) pump to
draw the agent into the venture inductor nozzle from the remote foam tank. The foam tank
is usually mounted on top of the water tanker in back of the turret. Once foam is inducted
into the venture inductor nozzle the foam mixes with the water and then into the turret
nozzle. After the mixture leaves the turret nozzle the mixture is exposed to air, this
causes the foam to expand. The amount of foam water ratio (percentage) is adjustable by
changing the orifice size on the inductor, foam orifice is factory preset is 6% foam to
water.
